LeBron James’ Chain Blaze Pizza Adds Vegan Chorizo to More than 300 Locations Nationwide

Starting tomorrow, chain Blaze Pizza added vegan Spicy Chorizo to the menu of more than 300 locations nationwide. The new vegan option—developed in-house by the company’s Executive Chef Bradford Kent—will be available for no extra charge. “We wanted to create a vegan protein option that could be enjoyed by all pizza lovers regardless of their dietary preferences. That’s exactly what our new Spicy Chorizo offers,” Kent said. “It’s flavorful enough to be the sole protein option on the pizzas, but also complements other veggies or meat toppings. We’re really fired up for guests to get a taste of it.” Professional basketball star LeBron James is a vocal investor in the vegan-friendly chain and owns several locations in Chicago and across Florida. In addition to the new Spicy Chorizo, the chain offers vegan cheese, sauce, and a variety of vegetable toppings at all of its locations, and can be ordered on its original pizza crust (which does not contain animal products).
