Star of reality shows Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Vanderpump Rules Lisa Vanderpump was recently seen cooking vegan bolognese in the kitchen of her new Los Angeles bar TomTom. “We recently saw you in the #sur kitchen cooking something that you said tastes like bolognese. What was that? It looked amazing,” a fan asked Vanderpump on Twitter. She responded: “It was in TomTom [and was] vegan Bolognese. Easy: Onions, garlic, mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, walnuts, breadcrumbs, red wine. Sauteed. Yum.” This is not the first time vegan cooking was highlighted in the kitchen of TomTom. Earlier this year, aquafaba—vegan chickpea brine that is used as an egg-white replacer—was the star of an episode of Vanderpump Rules in which they used the ingredient to make cocktails for the bar’s opening night.
