This month, yogurt brand Chobani will launch two vegan oat milk creamers at retailers nationwide. The new creamers will be available in 24-ounce cartons ($3.99) in Original and Vanilla flavors. Chobani will also add vegan Oat Zero Sugar beverage to the line, available in 54-ounce cartons for $3.99.

Vegan at Chobani
In January 2019, Chobani launched its first coconut milk-based vegan line of five yogurt and four drink flavors. In November 2019, the brand expanded its vegan offerings with the launch of The World of Chobani Oat—a line of oat-based products it initially launched with four drink flavors, four yogurt flavors, and three varieties of yogurt cups with crunchy toppings. In December, Chobani further expanded the line with Oat Drink Barista Blend, a plant-based milk that it designed to behave like steamed whole milk in coffee.

Oat milk sales boom
Chobani is bulking up its oat line to tap into a growing market which saw oat beverage dollar sales soar by 272 percent in 2020 year-to-date. Other brands have launched similar products to capitalize on the growth of oat milk, including Coffee-Mate which debuted its vegan Original Oat Milk creamer under its Natural Bliss line at Target in April.
