This week, ice cream brand Magnum debuted Non-Dairy Sea Salt Caramel ice cream bars at retailers nationwide. The new flavor is made with a caramel ice cream base that is dipped in a cracking vegan chocolate shell. “At Magnum Ice Cream, we’re obsessed with delivering a next-level bite,” Leslie Miller, Marketing Director of Ice Cream at Magnum’s parent company Unilever in North America, said. “Caramel is Magnum’s most popular ice cream flavor in dairy bars and tubs, so it’s exciting to bring it to market in an equally delicious Non-Dairy Bar.” The new flavor joins Magnum’s two existing vegan bar flavors: Non-Dairy Classic and Non-Dairy Almond, which the brand launched last year in the United States after offering similar vegan product lines in the United Kingdom, Europe, and Australia. All of Magnum’s non-dairy ice cream bar flavors are vegan-certified, made with a base of coconut oil and pea protein, and are dipped in Belgian chocolate made from ethically sourced cocoa beans certified by the Rainforest Alliance.
