This week, skincare brand FENTY Skin—a new branch of the FENTY brand owned by music icon Rihanna—unveiled its first three products, all of which are vegan. Called “start’rs,” the initial collection includes the Total Cleans’r ($25), toner-serum hybrid Fat Water ($28), and Hydra Vizor SPF 30 moisturizer ($35).

“I’m a woman of color and I have a lot of sensitivities on a lot of areas of my face,” Rihanna said in an Instagram video announcing the launch. “I get really picky with products and a lot of time I get scared and cautious. I wanted a product that just worked. More than anything that was most important to me. Something that worked for everyone. I wanted the best ingredients and I didn’t want it to cost a lot … because I believe that is what people deserve. They deserve great product, great skin, and it should not be inaccessible.” Rihanna is hosting a virtual launch party today for the FENTY Skin line, which will be available for purchase starting July 31.

The FENTY Skin line follows the April launch of FENTY’s “The Faux Leather Capsule”, the latest collection from the brand’s fashion arm which features hoodies, oversized shirts, corset dresses, skirts, and baggy pants, all made from soft vegan leather.
