Singer Fantasia Taylor (née Barrino)—known for winning season three of reality series American Idol—is now vegan. The musician recently shared a video recipe with her 4.2 million Instagram followers with the caption “The Taylors Gone Vegan.” In the video, Taylor prepared baked zucchini boats stuffed with homemade vegan mac and cheese—which she shared with her husband, business tycoon Kendall Taylor. In a subsequent post, Taylor captioned a photo of vegetables, Violife vegan cheese, a cashew-based vegan cheese sauce, chickpeas, and a variety of seasonings with “Vegan life has been nice.”
In recent months, a number of high-profile musicians have revealed that they no longer consume animal products, including Lizzo, Jazmine Sullivan, and Lenny Kravitz.
