There are few things in the world that make us happier then hearing a well-known and respected public figure champion vegetarianism. Well, maybe hearing about happy animals would do the trick. Which means that today is one pretty amazing day, because Barbara Walters, moved by the story of Molly, a cow who escaped from a New York slaughterhouse, declared her intention to go veg, and even went so far as to say she’ll be bringing her own personal supply of veggie burgers with her to DC if need be.
