Ice cream company Ben & Jerry’s recently launched its newest vegan flavor in the United Kingdom: Cookies on Cookie Dough. The new flavor features a caramel ice cream base loaded with cookie swirls, cookie dough pieces, and chocolate chunks. “Here are two reasons to love our latest non-dairy [flavor],” the company describes its new flavor. “Firstly, it’s caramelly and very cookie-ey. Secondly, it’s dairy-less! Thirdly, you might need to sit down for this … it’s loaded with cookie dough chunks, now … vegan! Ok, three reasons. We’re not great with numbers but we are with chunks.” Stateside, the company first debuted four vegan flavors (PB & Cookies, Coffee Caramel Fudge, Chocolate Fudge Brownie, and Chunky Monkey) in 2016 and has expanded the line, which now amounts to 11 vegan-friendly pints—including a veganized version of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough—every year since.
