Iconic ice cream company Ben & Jerry’s launched an online voting form last week to help it pick its newest non-dairy flavor. “What flavor adventure should be the newest to grace the shelves of the non-dairy section?” the company asked its customers. “We want to know what non-dairy flavors would tickle your taste buds and send you swirling into a frenzy of vegan deliciousness.” The company first launched four almond milk-based flavors—PB & Cookies, Coffee Caramel Fudge, Chunky Monkey, and Chocolate Fudge Brownie—in 2016. Earlier this year, after widespread media coverage and consumer support, Ben & Jerry’s introduced three more vegan flavors: Cherry Garcia, Coconut Seven Layer Bar, and Caramel Almond Brittle. This summer, the company announced its expansion of the non-dairy flavors to the United Kingdom and launched nationwide delivery in the United States. Other major brands have also introduced vegan flavors this year, including Häagen-Dazs, Breyers, and Talenti.
