Beyoncé’s Makeup Artist Launches Vegan Beauty Line in South Africa

Sir John Nicholas Barnett—known professionally as “Sir John” and a longtime makeup artist for singer Beyoncé—recently debuted an all-vegan beauty line exclusively with retailer Woolworth’s in South Africa. A limited-edition online only line, Sir John x W.Beaty features an array of makeup items, including a four-color collection of sparkly liquid eye shadows, nude lipsticks in liquid and solid formulations, an illuminating highlighter stick (and matching highlighter powder), and a highly pigmented eyeshadow palette. In addition to makeup items, the collection features four sparkly nail polishes, a glittery makeup bag, and a set of all-vegan makeup brushes. This week on social media, John congratulated Beyoncé on the release of Homecoming, a documentary created by the singer about her historic Coachella performance last year as the first black woman to headline the festival.
