British retail chain Marks & Spencer launched a vegan heart-shaped beet burger this week after requests for a meat-free Valentine’s Day meal option following the launch of its bacon-wrapped Love Sausage. The new Heart-Beet Burger is made of roasted beets and sweet onions and is available in the store’s refrigerator section. “For those of you asking about a vegan Love Sausage, let us introduce our Heart-Beet Burger, made with roasted beetroot and sweet onions,” the chain announced on Twitter. “Pick one up in store now and serve in a fluffy bun for a vegan Valentine’s dinner that’s sure to get your date’s heart-beet racing.”
