Chapter of Alpha Epsilon Pi collaborates with PETA for its first-ever “vegan week.”
September 30, 2015
The Alpha Epsilon Pi (AEPi) fraternity at Brown University is currently participating in PETA2’s “Vegan Frat Challenge” in which the organization will enjoy veg food donated by Beyond Meat, Daiya, and restaurants in the Providence area. “The brothers of Alpha Epsilon Pi are part of a global trend of cruelty-free, eco-friendly vegan eating,” PETA2 senior director Marta Holmberg said. “PETA2 is proud to team up with them to show how everything from buffalo ‘wings’ to breakfast burritos can be dished up without any meat, eggs, or dairy foods.” To conclude its plant-based week, AEPi will host a vegan barbecue on Saturday open to students, staff, and the public.
