Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park has been named this year’s most veg-friendly US ballpark by animal-rights group, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. The park’s hefty menu of meatless grub includes faux “chicken-steak” and barbeque “pit beef” sandwiches, veggie dogs, and black bean burgers. Other ballparks listed for their efforts in providing more vegan options on their menus are Seattle’s Safeco Field, Detroit’s Comerica Park, Oakland’s O.co Coliseum, Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium, New York’s Citi Field, Los Angeles’ Angel Stadium of Anaheim, Washington’s Nationals Park, Pittsburgh’s PNC Park, and Minnesota’s Target Field.
