The 62 million active users of the game FarmVille manage their own virtual farm; now, for a sign-up fee of $48 dollars, they can help run a real one. The United Kingdom’s National Trust has created MyFarm, a real-life version of the immensely popular game. Up to 10,000 participants will be able to make group decisions on every aspect of a 2,500-acre farm in Cambridgeshire, UK, from deciding what crops to grow to whether or not animals will be raised. The first vote will take place later this month, where members will decide what produce will be grown on the farm.
