Field Roast to Be Sold at Publix Grocery Chain

Field Roast vegan sausages can now be found at the Southeast supermarket chain, Publix. The Smoked Apple Sage and Italian sausage varieties are available at all 1,100 worker-owned Publix locations, a Florida-based company that has often been compared to Walmart but with better employee benefits and competitive prices. In 2015, Field Roast expanded into mainstream retailers such as Safeway, Meijer, and Midwest giant Kroger, and this new partnership will give consumers access to nitrate-free vegan sausages, including at the 10 Publix locations in North Carolina—the nation’s second largest pork producing state.
