Green Giant Launches Six Vegan Meal Bowls

California-based vegetable brand Green Giant Fresh will debut four new vegan bowls. In February, the company launched two vegan bowls (the Burrito Bowl and the Teriyaki Fried Rice Bowl, made with the company’s Cauliflower Crumbles) and will add four more products (Pad Thai Bowl, Rancheros Bowl, Buddha Bowl, and Ramen Bowl) by mid-spring. “This innovative new line includes deliciously distinct world flavors in microwave-safe bowls that are made exclusively with fresh vegetables,” Green Giant Fresh CEO Jamie Strachan said. The availability of the bowls will vary by region. Similarly, Conagra brand Healthy Choice debuted a line of plant-based bowls this month, and Tyson announced plans to launch vegan line Green Street (which also features plant-based bowls) by the end of the year.
