Rock-and-roll themed food chain Hard Rock Cafe recently added the Impossible Burger to its “Legendary Burger” menu section at nearly 40 locations in the United States. The meatless burger comes topped with a golden fried onion ring, lettuce, tomato, and cheddar cheese on a toasted brioche bun, and can be made vegan by omitting the cheese and bun. “At Hard Rock, we strive to satisfy the consumer’s ever-changing palate and continuously work to update our menu to provide more options,” a Hard Rock spokesperson told VegNews. “We always say that there is something for everyone to enjoy on Hard Rock’s menu, and the Impossible Burger is a great addition for our vegetarian guests, and guests looking for non-meat options.” The Impossible Burger launched at select upscale restaurants in 2016 and is now on the menu at more than 5,000 restaurant locations, including 117 outposts of game-and-food chain Dave and Buster’s and all 377 locations of fast-food restaurant White Castle.
