Jamba Juice to Launch Plant-Based Concept Café

According to food media outlet Eater, concept café Jamba Juice Innovation is in its final stages of completion in Old Town Pasadena, CA. The company will expand the juice and smoothie brand into a café with seating, wifi, and a plant-based menu. When Former CEO James D. White announced plans for the concept last year, he said “the Jamba Concept Store will allow us to push the boundaries of the brand and enable us to innovate in three key areas: product development, technology, and the customer experience.” The new eatery will also feature a test kitchen where customers will be encouraged to provide feedback on menu items in order to determine which dishes will succeed in other markets should the concept café expand to more of the company’s 850 locations.
