One Third of Americans Plan to Try Plant-Based in 2019
YouGov’s new survey reveals 34 percent of Americans plan to incorporate vegan products such as almond-based milk, yogurt, and cheese to achieve their wellness resolutions.

More than one third of Americans (34 percent) plan to incorporate plant-based foods into their diet to achieve their wellness resolutions in 2019, according to a new poll conducted by data company YouGov. The company polled 1,232 Americans online in November and found that 40 percent of adult consumers are concerned about improving their health and wellness in the new year. The data shows that 51 percent of Americans are interested in plant-based products, with 44 percent finding almond milk-based yogurt and cream cheese an appealing concept. The majority of participants (80 percent) indicated that flavor was the most important factor affecting their decision to try plant-based foods.
