Pam Anderson Dances

Famous animal-rights advocate and former Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson has signed on to compete on Dancing with the Stars, a hit ABC TV program. The reality show pairs celebrities with professional dancers, who perform in dance competitions where viewers determine the winners. Anderson is one of PETA’s most visible spokespersons and the star of its recent “Save the Seals” ad campaign. In 2007, Dancing with the Stars featured another well-known animal-rights advocate, vegan entrepreneur Heather Mills. This January, Mills debuted cruelty-free skates on the TV show Skating on Ice. There is speculation that Anderson will follow Mills’ lead and request cruelty-free costuming when performing.
