PETA Names Top 10 Veggie-Friendly Ballparks
From black-bean quinoa burgers at Fenway Park to mac-and-cheese frites at Citi Field, stadiums around the country are stepping up to the vegan plate.

Every year, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) takes a trip around the country’s ballparks to sample vegan fare and determine which field is the veggie-friendliest. While the list is populated by a handful of the same contenders, this year’s rankings are likely to cause a few upsets. Chicago’s US Cellular Field, respectfully, landed the number 10 spot with its offerings of vegan hot dogs, burgers, summer vegetables, and tofu flatbread. Although San Francisco’s AT&T Park has consistently been ranked at the top—taking the number one spot in 2014—its portobello sandwiches and Field Roast frankfurters couldn’t save it from dropping to number six in 2015. Despite PETA’s love affair with Citizen Bank Park’s new wild mushroom and tofu cheesesteak, the Philadelphia stadium still came in at number two while Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium, which was absent from last year’s list, hit a homerun landing the number one spot with its vegan nachos smothered in cheese and tomatillo avocado sauce.
