A third location of popular Atlanta-based restaurant Slutty Vegan is headed for Birmingham, AL, according to Slutty Vegan founder Pinky Cole. “We’ve looked at a total of eight locations already, so we’re just identifying which one would serve us best,” Cole told local news station WVTM 13 News. “The goal is to be in Birmingham, Alabama within the next six months. We’re excited to have a brick-and-mortar here and do the same thing that we did in Atlanta.” Cole announced plans for the new location after the Slutty Vegan food truck visited Birmingham on September 30, where a massive line formed of customers promptly led to the truck selling out of food.

Slutty Vegan began doing business as a food truck in August 2018, selling provocatively named vegan burgers made with an Impossible Burger patty that is stacked with various toppings and slathered with a secret sauce. After the truck drew five-hour lines of more than 500 hungry guests waiting to be “sluttified,” Cole opened her first brick-and-mortar location in Atlanta in January—attracting 1,200 customers on opening day. This July, Cole opened the second Slutty Vegan brick-and-mortar location in Jonesboro, GA and served 1,000 customers on opening day.
