Today, television personality Lauren Conrad—known for her starring role in reality shows Laguna Beach and The Hills—launched vegan makeup brand Lauren Conrad Beauty (LCB). The new brand’s products are priced between $18 and $26 and include liquid eyeliner, lipstick in four shades, a lip and cheek tint combo, liquid highlighter, and lip gloss in three hues. “This collection has been years in the making, and now I can finally share it with everyone,” Conrad announced the brand on Instagram. “Lauren Conrad Beauty products are clean, environmentally friendly, ethically sourced, cruelty-free, and vegan.”
This summer, a number of celebrities announced vegan beauty lines, including Rihanna (whose FENTY Skin line made its debut with three vegan products on July 31); Alicia Keys (who revealed last week that she is working on a new lifestyle brand with vegan makeup company e.l.f Cosmetics); and Selena Gomez (whose mental-health focused vegan project Rare Beauty is set to debut at Sephora on September 3).
