Three-story plant-based complex Erpingham House will open in Norwich, England on May 26. Loui Blake, a 28-year-old entrepreneur, created the new concept—a restaurant, café, and bar—as a way to bring a modern establishment into the historic building. “The menu is entirely free from animal products and mostly gluten-free. It offers a healthier, more conscious way to eat and drink out,” Blake said. “Seeing the building and knowing its history, I wanted to restore it in a way that breathed new life into it and offer something new to the city.” The café portion of the complex will feature breakfast and lunch dishes, coffee, tea, and juices, while the restaurant portion will transition into a cocktail bar during the evenings.
