Time magazine published an article July 14, that comments on the recent progression of the animal-rights movement. “Can Animal Rights Go Too Far?” by Adam Cohen details advancements made in the name of animal rights, both domestically and abroad. Cohen educates readers in an encompassing article on the fight against dog chains, foie gras, factory farms, and more. Additionally, Cohen names the leaders of the movement, including Peter Singer and Bob Barker. Cohen comments that popular support is what is driving the animal-rights movement today. He also touches on the recent animal-rights laws negotiated in Ohio, and says that if animal rights can succeed in Ohio, they can succeed anywhere.
