On November 1, United Kingdom-based coffee chain Costa Coffee will launch a new Christmas menu which includes several vegan options. The menu features a new Veggies Under Vest sandwich filled with falafel and parsnip stuffing, carrot, cranberry sauce, vegan mayonnaise, and spinach. The new Christmas desserts include a gluten-free mince tart, rocky road bar studded with vegan marshmallows, and a fruit-based Christmas cake slice. The chain also launched a variety of holiday-themed specialty drinks, some of which can be made vegan, such as the Festive Spiced Cappuccino, Black Forest Hot Chocolate, and Gingerbread Latte. “Christmas is always such a magical time of year at Costa Coffee, and we’re incredibly excited to launch our best menu to date,” Eric Tavoukdjian, commercial marketing director at Costa Coffee, said. “We hope families and friends are inspired to come together and enjoy a Christmas treat in-store this season.” The new vegan menu will be available at all 2,467 Costa Coffee locations across the UK.
