This fall, Chicago-based brand Upton’s Naturals will debut its first line of meaty vegan soups at Whole Foods Markets nationwide. The soups will be available in three flavors: Italian Wedding (made with pasta, speckles of spinach, and Italian seitan); Chick Tortilla (made with black beans, tomato, cilantro, lime, and Chick Seitan); and Chick Noodle (which the brand describes as, “our vegan take on the soup we all grew up on,” made with thyme, rosemary, and Chick Seitan).

Last month, vegan brand Gardein unveiled its own upcoming collection of meaty vegan soups in five flavors: Chick’n Noodl’; Be’f & Vegetable; Saus’ge Gumbo; Chick’n & Rice; and Minestrone & Saus’ge.
