Urban Outfitters Partners with Vegan Clothing Line

Della, a vegan fashion line focused on sustainability and empowering women, recently announced a partnership with Urban Outfitters set to launch on May 1st. Della founder Tina Tangalakis named the company after the first person she met in Ghana, and employs women in West Africa to hand-sew her completely vegan clothing and accessories. Della will use the proceeds from the UO sales to assist Ghanaian women with education and employment. The first wave of designs will include printed shorts, tops, jackets, and rompers as well as accessories such as backpacks, iPad cases, hats, and headwraps. All of the pieces debuting will cost less than $70.
