Vegan Black Metal Chef to Release Seitanic Spellbook

The Vegan Black Metal Chef (aka Brian Manowitz) has taken to crowdfunding site Kickstarter to raise money for The Seitanic Spellbook, a multimedia cookbook with a black metal edge. Manowitz has asked his followers to “summon this book into existence,” which appears likely as the campaign exceeded its $35,000 goal after only a few days. In addition to recipes and accompanying photos, the book will contain QR codes linked to videos so readers can watch the recipes being made by the chef himself. “The Vegan Black Metal Chef” launched as a YouTube vlog in 2011, with the first episode receiving more than 2.7 million visitors and being one of YouTube’s most viewed food videos of the year.
