Vegan eatery Nourish Cafe will open its second location in the Nob Hill neighborhood of San Francisco this May. The café will occupy the space of non-vegan eatery Flour and Co. that shuttered in January. Co-owners Sarah Bacon and Brighton Miller say the menu at Nourish’s new location will feature the same vegan fare as the cafe’s flagship location in the Richmond neighborhood—including salads, sandwiches, wraps, soups, breakfast toasts, açai bowls, smoothies, and fresh juices. Additionally, the new location will offer vegan grilled cheese sandwiches all day and, thanks to a larger kitchen, will expand delivery and catering capabilities. “We have been really fortunate to have a great response at the [Richmond] location,” Bacon said, “[and] we’re looking forward to being able to capture the downtown and SoMa areas.” A growing number of vegan eateries have expanded their reach to second locations in recent months, including Seattle’s premier vegan tiki bar No Bones Beach Club, which opened a Portland, OR location in January.
