Vegan Chocolate Shop to Open in New York City

A new vegan sweets shop called Confectionary—a collaboration between vegan chocolate company Lagusta’s Luscious and bakery Sweet Maresa—will open in New York City’s Lower East Side neighborhood this May. Located next door to famed vegan-friendly burger restaurant Superiority Burger, Confectionary will feature items from both companies such as Sweet Maresa macarons and baked goods and Lagusta’s Luscious chocolate bars, barks, and truffles. Prior to collaborating on the opening of Confectionary, the two companies operated out of New Paltz in upstate New York but have amassed nationwide followings.
