Vegan Etsy
Hand-made and cruelty-free just might be our favorite our adjectives.

In a world where children are allowed to manufacture products for consumption thousands of miles away, it’s more than a relief to discover the online ethical vending-haven that is VeganEtsy. The etsy.com web network allows anyone to buy and sell hand-made products. VeganEtsy founder Molly Lorenz, who peddles her own homemade vegan dog-treats on the site, wanted to set up a team that nurtures the veg community, supports vegan business-owners, and contributes to animal-related causes (many members donate a portion of their sales to charities like Farm Sanctuary and Peaceful Prairie). “Just getting the word ‘vegan’ out there does a lot of good,” says Lorenz. “There are a lot of people who want to support vegan-business owners, and this gives them the resources to do just that.” Lorenz, who has had to stop herself from buying every single VeganEtsy product for herself, started the blog to showcase the artisans so consumers can learn as much about the origins of their wares as the products themselves. But the site offers more than just a wide array of adorable, hand-made items (anything from one-of-a-kind jewelry to cruelty-free mitts to tasty treats)-it promotes the vegan lifestyle.
