Vegan Recipe Scholarship

Sublime, an award-winning vegan restaurant located in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., has announced the 2011 It’s Vegalicious Vegan Recipe Scholarship Contest. The restaurant has partnered with Whole Foods Market to offer a $5,000 grand prize to the local high school senior who can create the best original vegan recipe. Entrants can create anything from soup to dessert, and Sublime will feature the winning recipe on its menu for at least one week. According to the contest site, the scholarship hopes to “encourage young people to become more conscious of their food choices and to encourage higher learning.”
