All-vegan food factory Devil’s Kitchen recently opened in Stroud, England. It is the latest venture of entrepreneur Dale Vince, the owner of vegan soccer team Forest Green Rovers (FGR). The factory produces Little Green Devils, a line of plant-based meals for children that includes products such as Moroccan Style Balls and Chili Cheese Burgers. The products were initially created in-house at FGR’s vegan football stadium last year. The Little Green Devils products are free of the 14 major food allergens such as nuts, seeds, gluten, and soy, and were created specifically for school and college cafeterias in the United Kingdom in an effort to support the growing movement to introduce meat- and dairy-free days in schools. The new facility is expected to produce 120,000 items a week, and has been designed to scale quickly to meet demand. The first orders of Little Green Devil burgers begin shipping next week and are expected to be on school menus as of April.
