In mid-May, snack brand Lesser Evil will debut three unique seasonal vegan popcorn flavors on Amazon. Made with organic coconut oil, the flavors include Lemonade, Pink Grapefruit, and Watermelon Hibiscus. “Our seasonal summer popcorn was inspired by the hard seltzer and flavored sparkling water trends that have become really popular,” Lesser Evil President and CEO Charles Coristine told VegNews. “People are looking to unwind and enjoy the summer, whether it’s a refreshing beverage, fresh fruit, or their favorite snack.” Whole Foods Markets in the United States will also offer the Lemonade and Pink Grapefruit flavors in 5-ounce bags for $3.99 each for a limited time.
While the brand is not fully vegan, Lesser Evil offers several other vegan snack flavors, including Himalayan Gold popcorn (made with butter-flavored coconut oil); Himalayan Salt + Apple Cider Vinegar paleo puffs; and “No Cheese” Cheesiness (available in both popcorn and puff formats).
