International fashion magazine Vogue recently applauded vegan songstress Miley Cyrus for advocating animal-free fashion. While in London promoting her new single, “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart” with Mark Ronson, Cyrus used the occasion to showcase all-vegan outfits. Cyrus was spotted wearing vintage faux fur by Vivienne Westwood and vegan leather cowboy boots by Casadei. On a separate occasion, Cyrus wore Stella McCartney thigh-high boots with a Chanel mini skirt. “With vegan versions of fur, leather, and wool all in the mix in her wardrobe, Cyrus proves that skipping the authentic materials doesn’t mean sacrificing style,” Vogue writer Janelle Okwodu wrote. “With more and more brands giving up exotic skins and banishing harmful practices in favor of alternatives, Miley’s forward-looking outfits are more than a celebrity style moment. They’re a peek at how we’ll all be dressing in the near future.” Earlier this month, Cyrus debuted a 25-piece holiday line with Converse, her third vegan line made in collaboration with the apparel brand.
