Seasonal Smoothie
Smoothies are popular for people in a hurry, but they are also a long-lasting breakfast—I sip them all morning. If you forget to freeze bananas in advance, a fresh banana works fine.

What you need:
- 1 ripe, frozen banana, peeled and cut into chunks
- 1/2 cup frozen berries (any variety)
- One ripe pear, cored and stemmed (optional)
- 12 ounces orange juice or soymilk
What you do:
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
