This week, actress and vegan activist Ruby Rose announced her investment for an undisclosed amount in vegan beverage brand REBBL, which sells “superfood”-loaded, coconut milk-based elixirs. Rose decided to support the company with her first business investment in an effort to make nutritious plant-based beverages more accessible to the general public, and to promote REBBL’s partner organization, Not for Sale, a nonprofit working to end human trafficking. In addition to her investment, Rose will participate in the brand’s creative development, strategic planning, and actively raise brand awareness. In addition to veganism, Rose advocates for a number of social justice issues, including LGBTQ rights. Rose will be playing the first openly gay female superhero “Batwoman” in an upcoming The CW series.
