To the dismay of millennials everywhere, it has somehow been two decades since the release of Hannah Montana. The Disney Channel favorite has marked the milestone with an anniversary special on Disney+ and Hulu. But if you want more, there’s another way to celebrate: Starbucks has added Hannah’s Secret Popstar Refresher to the menu from March 24 to April 5—and it can be made dairy-free.
The new pink drink is essentially a Strawberry Açaí Refresher, which is already vegan, as it’s made with ice, a strawberry açaí base, and freeze-dried strawberries. The new Hannah’s Secret Popstar Refresher, however, skips the strawberry pieces and adds raspberry syrup and raspberry cold foam.

Is Starbucks cold foam dairy-free?
If you’re thinking: but wait, cold foam? Yep, this signature Starbucks ingredient can be made with non-dairy milk. That’s because cold foam is actually just cold, frothed-up milk. It’s just like frothed hot milk in the sense that it’s incredibly creamy, which is why Starbucks adds it to various beverages.
While Hannah’s Secret Popstar Refresher is technically a limited-edition item, you can order it year-round by customizing a Strawberry Açaí Refresher. Just skip the freeze-dried strawberries and ask your barista to add extra raspberry syrup and non-dairy cold foam.

That said, one person who probably wouldn’t be rushing to try Starbucks’ new drink? Hannah Montana herself.
Miley Stewart was famously not a fan of raspberries. In fact, in one episode, she says the smell alone makes her feel sick—thanks to a traumatic raspberry pie-eating contest. According to Starbucks’ social media team, though, Stewart would be “so over that” in 2026, so raspberries got the green light.
Starbucks’ vegan-friendly Spring menu
But if like Hannah Montana on season one, you’re not a fan of raspberries, there are other options. For spring, Starbucks has rolled out several new flavors of non-dairy cold foam, including lavender, toasted coconut, and ube. There are also several new drinks made with the foams, including a new Toasted Coconut Cream Cold Brew, a Toasted Coconut Latte, and an Iced Ube Coconut Macchiato.

There’s also an Iced Lavender Latte, a Lavender Crème Frappuccino, and even an Iced Lavender Cream Matcha. All of the drinks are made with non-dairy syrups, so all can easily be made vegan—just remember to ask for vegan milk and non-dairy cold foam. You won’t be charged extra for the non-dairy milk either, as Starbucks eliminated the surcharge back in 2024.
Just a hunch, but we reckon Stewart would go for the Iced Lavender Latte—the purple hue feels very on-brand for the secret popstar.
