Alix Earle has a special power: she can make products sell out in minutes. It’s so well documented that it even has a name—the “Alix Earle effect.” The 25-year-old social media influencer has wielded this power over everything from makeup to ring lights. But there’s another element of Earle’s routine that deserves a spotlight: her obsession with almond milk.
Earle is best known for her “get ready with me” videos on TikTok, but her résumé goes far beyond that. She hosts her own podcast, Hot Mess With Alix Earle, invests in multiple drink brands, and even has a scholarship fund at the Miami Herbert Business School. In short: she’s busy. To power through it all, she starts each day with iced coffee and almond milk. In a 2023 video for Elle, she called it “kind of my go-to order wherever I am.”

Almond milk features frequently in Earle’s life and content. She’s filmed herself making ice cream with it, and it appears in her elaborate Starbucks order—a grande shaken espresso with two to three pumps of vanilla syrup and cinnamon powder. According to almond milk brand Malk, the influencer is a fan of its Unsweetened Almond variety.
Back home in New Jersey, her favorite spot for a daily caffeine fix is Rook Coffee. “This is my favorite coffee, hands down—there really is nothing else that compares,” she told The Infatuation. “My standard order is their New Orleans cold brew with almond milk and agave. Adding just a little bit of agave doesn’t make it too sweet but still adds a little something that it needs.”
Why does Alix Earle love almond milk so much?
There’s no doubt Earle is ride-or-die for almond milk, but she hasn’t said much about why. Still, we can make a few educated guesses.
First, there’s the taste. Almond milk’s creamy, nutty flavor makes it a natural complement to coffee. Then there are the potential health benefits. It’s a good source of vitamin E, for example, which is linked to skin health and reduced inflammation. That could be a draw for Earle, who has openly documented her struggles with acne.

Research into the connection between dairy and acne is ongoing, but some studies suggest that milk consumption may worsen breakouts—possibly due to natural growth hormones in dairy.
The dairy-free market has grown increasingly crowded in recent years (there’s even potato milk now), but almond milk remains a dominant player. According to IMARC Group, the global almond milk market could surpass $36 billion by 2033.
