Disney World Resort Adds Vegan JUST Egg and Beyond Sausage to DIY Breakfast Bowls

Orlando’s Walt Disney World recently added several vegan options to the menu at fast-casual eatery Centertown Market. According to Instagrammer @vegandisneyworld, guests can now order the Create-Your-Own Breakfast Bowl ($9.49) with vegan Just Egg (prepared as a scramble), vegan Beyond Sausage, and a choice of plant-based toppings such as salsa. The vegan egg and sausage combination can also be ordered in place of animal products in the American Breakfast option which comes with home fries and toast. Just Egg was developed from mung beans by California startup JUST and Beyond Sausage is made by vegan brand Beyond Meat—most popular for its pea protein-based Beyond Burger. Iconic amusement parks in Orlando are adapting to the plant-based shift, including Universal Studios Florida which added vegan options to seven of its restaurants earlier this year.
