The Plant Based World Conference & Expo—the first trade show hosted by United States trade group Plant Based Foods Association (PBFA)—will debut June 7 to 8 in New York City. The show will bring together vegan product manufacturers, food-service providers, retailers, entrepreneurs, investors, healthcare professionals, and consumers to educate, network, and find the latest innovations in plant-based living. In addition to educational opportunities such as the Food Solutions for Human Health Summit, the Eat For the Future Business Forum, and a Community Day for the general public, the show will also include a Plant Based World Expo Hall featuring vendors such as Follow Your Heart, Daiya Foods, Tofurky, Miyoko’s Kitchen, No Evil Foods, and Good Catch Foods. “Our shared mission is to promote the plant-based foods industry,” Michele Simon, PBFA executive director, said. “Through this partnership, we look forward to growing the industry together by educating professionals and consumers about the many benefits of plant-based foods.” Founded in San Francisco in 2016, PBFA represents 126 companies who work together on initiatives that promote plant-based foods.
