The majority of the ten members of legendary rap group Wu-Tang Clan are now vegan, according to group member Jason Hunter (known professionally as “Inspectah Deck.”) “My end goal is to become a vegan. Eighty percent of the Clan are vegan right now,” Hunter told Metro UK. “It’s just about healthier living. Once you get older, your body functions differently. The best thing to do is be preventive about a lot of things. You can eat right, that’s a big plus once you hit 40. Keep your muscles tight and have good circulation. I also try to drink fresh juice, especially on the road.” Clan member RZA has been an outspoken vegan for many years and recently worked with fellow members Ghostface Killah and GZA to promote the launch of the vegan-friendly Impossible Slider at White Castle through a comedic, four-part video campaign that was chosen as a finalist for the Tribeca X award by the Tribeca Film Festival. The Wu-Tang Clan is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its hit album “Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)” with the Gods of Rap tour alongside legendary musicians Public Enemy, De La Soul, and DJ Premier.
