Earlier this year, Impossible Foods debuted its beefy meatless hot dog to much fanfare. The company’s innovative formulation delivered on the classic flavors and textures while boasting 50-percent less saturated fat and double the protein than animal-derived hot dogs.
Today, the meatless brand announced the launch of yet another Americana classic made without the use of any animal ingredients. The Impossible Corn Dog, which is set to roll out in grocery stores starting this month, features meaty Impossible Hot Dogs enveloped in a fluffy, golden, cornbread-like exterior. Packed with nine grams of protein per serving, Impossible Foods’ plant-based corn dog contains 40-percent less saturated fat than its meat-based counterpart.

In addition to its launch of Impossible Corn Dogs, Impossible Foods has revamped two, longtime customer-favorite products, both of which are also set to roll out within the coming weeks.
Impossible Foods x ‘Mufasa: The Lion King’
The company’s best-selling meatless chicken nuggets have gotten a magical makeover with a little help from Disney. Impossible Lion King Chicken Nuggets offer the same great taste and 10 grams of protein as the original nuggets but in the shape of beloved Disney characters Mufasa and Simba.
“Our new Lion King Nuggets are a fun way for kids and adults to enjoy our delicious plant-based chicken nuggets—given we all know and love the epic movie, and of course the timeless soundtrack,” Peter McGuinness, president and CEO of Impossible Foods, said in a statement.

This tasty collaboration is the latest between Impossible Foods and Disney. “We’ve been very proud to work with Disney to serve Impossible products across their properties for the past four years, so it was a natural next step to collaborate on a new offering in the grocery aisle,” McGuinness said.
This launch comes just ahead of the world premiere of the highly anticipated film, Mufasa: The Lion King. A prequel to Disney’s The Lion King, Mufasa is set to hit theaters December 20.
Bring on the flavor with new beefless grounds
Impossible Meal Makers round out the company’s latest product launches. Available in Taco and Italian-style flavors, Impossible Meal Makers offer customers a pre-seasoned version of Impossible Foods’ beef grounds.

Like the original grounds, Meal Makers boast 19 grams of protein per serving and 33-percent less saturated fat than animal-derived meat grounds.

Meat made from plants
Known for its innovative formulations, Impossible Foods is beloved by vegans, omnivores, and flexitarians alike for its meat-like flavor and texture.
The company’s food scientists are able to achieve the flavor and mouthfeel of animal products such as beef and chicken thanks to its plant-derived heme. And thanks to this industry-changing breakthrough, Impossible Foods makes meat using plants.
Grocery stores stock Impossible Foods products alongside animal meat, and earlier this year, the company underwent a major design, moving away from its original green hues to red—a color often associated with meat.

“We’re the fastest-growing plant-based company in America, so it’s a good time to evolve from a position of strength. We wanted packaging that lived up to and reflected the deliciousness of our products while really popping on the shelf,” McGuinness previously said in a statement.
“For a long time, meat eaters didn’t see us as something for them,” Leslie Sims, Impossible Foods’ chief marketing and creative officer, said at the time. “But our mission relies on attracting meat eaters, so we wanted to do what we could to be more inviting in our approach and messaging. We’re confident that once they try us, they’ll be in.”
