Canada’s Vegan Butchers Are Giving Away a Year’s Worth of Vegan Meat

The Very Good Butchers are asking its customers to nominate a “Very Good Person” who deserves a monthly box of vegan burgers, bangers, taco meat, barbecue jackfruit, ribs, and pepperoni.

Canadian vegan meat brand The Very Good Butchers (VGB) is asking its customers to nominate a “Very Good Person” to receive a year’s worth of vegan meat. Nominees should be people who have made a difference, who embody kindness, and who think of others. The first prize winner and his or her nominator will receive a one-year subscription to the VGB Big Box—which includes a monthly delivery of vegan burgers, bangers, taco meat, barbecue jackfruit, ribs, and pepperoni—and swag (worth approximately $2,500). The giveaway will also include a second prize winner, who will receive a three-month subscription to the Very Good Box—which includes vegan burgers, bangers, taco meat, and pepperoni—and swag; a third prize winner, who will receive one month of the Very Good Box and swag; and five runner-ups, who will receive VGB bangers, burgers, and taco meat. 

“Many very good people are struggling right now and we want to recognize and give holiday cheer to someone special by giving them, and the person who appreciates them, a special gift that also supports a plant-based diet,” VGB co-founder and CEO Mitchell Scott said. “This is our way of spreading goodness and saying ‘thank you’ to our Very Good customers, who have helped us realize our dream of being the West Coast’s leading vegan butcher.”
