Vegan bakery chain Cinnaholic delivered its popular DIY cinnamon rolls for Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his staff this week from its first Winnipeg location, which officially opens today. “Special delivery for Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau today,” Cinnaholic captioned a photo of Trudeau with a franchise co-owner Menchie Finlay on Instagram. The California-based chain, which sells vegan cinnamon rolls that can be customized with a selection of 30 frosting flavors and more than 20 toppings, currently operates 29 locations throughout the United States, and expanded to Canada this year with locations in Alberta, Manitoba, and Ontario. Contrary to Trudeau’s purchase of vegan cinnamon rolls, the political leader attended the opening of a new factory for apparel company Canada Goose this week, which manufactures winter coats made from cruelly begotten goose down and coyote fur.
