Vegan packaged sweets and snacks under Disney’s “Snacks with Character” line are now available at Disneyland in Anaheim, California. Spotted by Disney news outlet WDWNT, the snack line—which was previously only available at Walt Disney World in Florida—features an assortment of items, including mini chocolate chip cookies, a dark chocolate bar, a rice milk-based chocolate bar, and two grain and seed snack bars in Chocolate Marshmallow and Banana Caramel flavors. Each snack package features illustrations of iconic Disney characters and is priced between $2.49 and $3.59. In addition to the snack line, visitors to Disneyland can now order Impossible Meat-filled lettuce cups and soyrizo tacos at Ballast Point Brewing in Downtown Disney—the park’s first craft-beer taproom that opened in January. Other Disney-owned properties have also been adding a plethora of plant-based options. Disney’s Wilderness Lodge in Florida now serves a vegan meat-filled skillet meal, Disney World added vegan JUST Egg and Beyond Sausage as options for the Create-Your-Own Breakfast Bowl at its Centertown Market, and Shanghai Disney Resort in China added vegan options to most of its quick-service restaurants earlier this month.
