Vegan “groot bread” is now available at Disneyland-adjacent park, Disney California Adventures. The face-shaped bread is named after the adorable, tree-living character, Baby Groot, from the new Marvel film Guardians of the Galaxy 2, and is available at the park’s Fairfax Market in two flavors—jalapeño cheese (not vegan) and plain sourdough (vegan). The snack (discovered by instagrammer @veganatdisneyland) was launched as part of the Summer of Heroes series—where guests meet their favorite superheroes face-to-face—and in conjunction with Disneyland’s new ride, named after the film. Vegans can now celebrate summer blockbusters in various ways, as beauty brand Luxie recently launched a Wonder Woman-themed, all-vegan makeup brush set to coincide with the premier the Wonder Woman remake.
