Earls Restaurant recently rolled out an all-vegan menu to all of its 66 locations across Canada and the United States. The menu, which was developed over two years, includes dishes such as Spicy Tofu Tacos, Hunan Kung Pao, Crispy Tofu Zen Bowl, and Quinoa and Avocado Power Bowl. “People are changing the way they eat for various reasons, but for those seeking plant-based options—or just meat-eaters wanting to give something new a try—finding creative, crave-able plant-based options is still a challenge,” Kristin Vekteris, Earls brand and marketing vice president, said. “Earls prides itself on anticipating guests’ needs and is thrilled to be among the first restaurant groups in North America to offer a plant-based menu at all Earls locations in Canada and the US.” In recent years, restaurants across the globe have embraced plant-based options, including Detroit’s Mabel Gray which debuted an eight-course vegan menu in June, St. Lucia resort Anse Chastanet which launched a special vegan menu at its Emerald restaurant in August, London’s Buster Mantis which transformed into a vegan restaurant in September for three months, and India’s largest hostel chain Zostel which added two vegan meals to its Agra outpost last week.
