Jelly shoes are back from the ‘90s in time for summer and are officially vegan-certified. Shoe brand Melissa—which created the popular Possession model—reimagined the iconic line with eight new shades (including matte and transparent varieties) and extended sizes (available in 5 to 13) to be more inclusive. “An unforgettable comeback celebrating a model that’s iconic for Melissa’s history and the ‘90s, too,” the brand described the relaunch. “It all began back in the cultural explosion that was taking place at the time. The internet had just come out, rock was leaning towards grunge, and video games seemed so advanced. A little something we’re so proud to share: Possession has been officially registered as vegan friendly by The Vegan Society, the world’s first vegan society.” Melissa’s bubblegum-scented Jelly shoes are available in-store at its London and New York City locations, as well as online.
